The Non-Tech Family
There are two categories I put my family in. One side of my family, which is the 96 percent, I consider my non-tech side or the medical side. The other is obviously my tech side, which consists of my aunts family and a few cousins. Well this story is all about acceptance, I feel accepted by my tech family since I am a techy person. The other side looks at me and thinks that since I’m not becoming a doctor I won’t have a great life (as if studying nano engineering isn’t good enough). I am starting to realize that it is mostly since they don’t understand the things that I tend to discuss with my aunts family. This is wrong. Even if you do not understand another human you should not reject them for being different. In my case it is a small problem but I observe people doing things like this all the time. Accept people for there differences one day you might need them to fix your computer :P
